Role Overview
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to early-stage biotech innovation and venture investing at the intersection of scientific discovery, capital formation, and philanthropic impact.
Core Responsibilities
- Investment Diligence: Evaluate scientific rationale, clinical data, competitive landscape, and market opportunity
- Portfolio Strategy: Support opportunity sourcing, investment memos, and portfolio analytics
- Fund Strategy & Fundraising: Develop materials for LPs, donors, and strategic partners
- Investor Relations: Draft updates, presentations, and external communications
Candidate Profile
- Undergraduate, Master's, PhD, MD, or MBA candidate (or recent graduate)
- Background in life sciences, medicine, or finance
- Strong analytical thinking; ability to synthesize complex scientific and business information
- High ownership mindset; detail-oriented; intellectually curious
Preferred: Prior exposure to biotech startup ecosystem, consulting, or venture capital
